Rhianna Pratchett, of Mirror’s Edge and Heavenly Sword fame will be assuming her duties as a writer for Codemaster’s sequel, Overlord II. In addition to Overlord II, she’ll also be writing the Overlord spin-offs which are currently in development for the Wii and DS platforms. Her name has been mentioned before in reference to the projects, but it’s now been confirmed. She received a British Writers’ Guild Awards nomination for her work on the original Overlord script. We just hope she keeps the light humor in tact, as it was one of the best parts of the original game. All hail, Bully of Jesters!
